Ei Electronics launches improved version of its ground breaking AudioLINK software.
Ei Electronics is pleased to announce a new version of its award-winning AudioLINK™ app, built upon its existing revolutionary data extraction technology and integrated into its new range of Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms.
AudioLINK enables real-time data to be acoustically extracted via its Alarm’s sounder to a tablet or smart phone. These new features allow users to either manually input the unique Alarm serial number or scan the serial number barcode using a scanning function within the app. The serial number can then be incorporated into AudioLINK generated reports to enable greater traceability.
"It is now possible to generate and store multiple reports
from each Alarm, displaying all historic information at a glance."
With AudioLINK’s enhanced viewing features you can select the latest history and obtain useful information on each Alarm. Details such as battery life, Alarm sensor status, number of times tested, power on duration, Alarm head removal, when events occurred and detection levels of Smoke or CO can now all be stored and output in a simple .pdf format (replacing the older HTML format). As the information is generated in real time, any issue identified can be dealt with in a timely fashion. It is also now possible to export group reports via a .csv file for integration into databases or other reporting formats.
AudioLINK is proving extremely popular for rented accommodation as it improves the level of protection for tenants whilst being more time, budget and resource efficient for anyone managing accommodation. The reports provide physical records of Smoke and Carbon Monoxide levels in managed properties and can be used as part of property checks prior to new tenant occupation. Additional sections on the Alarm status screen have been added to allow users to input the Alarm location by free text and to also select the “Alarm Status” which is grouped into three categories “OK”, “Service” or “Replace”
The location input features have also been enhanced to include fields such as “UPRN” (Unique Property Reference Number), “Contractor” and “Landlord”. This allows easier traceability for records’ storage.
A new simple button has been included for the auto-fill of address and email fields that will recall previously used information to speed up the input of Alarm install details. With the send function you can now add the email addresses of your frequently used contacts. The addresses will then stay within the app for selection at a later stage thus avoiding having to input the same email address on multiple occasions.
AudioLINK has been added as standard into Ei Electronics AudioLINK compatible Alarms identified with the AudioLINK icon.
Ei Electronics have worked with local authorities and housing association across Ireland and the UK to develop AudioLINK and believe that this innovation will benefit both tenants and social housing providers.
All Ei Electronics Alarms are designed and built in Ireland specifically to meet EU standards and regulations.
